Looking for an orginal 1977 GS6 head light nnumber plate ... any ideas? ( I think I saw some at VMD .... but it did not register what they were untill I got home ....)

You might try contacting "Speedy" Clasen about the headlight mask. I know he had some repopped for Sachs bikes and they are very similar to to the OEM ones used on the GS6 bikes.

Hi Mike (x2), most of my parts come from the POG, the mask that I have, came from Rod Gorzny, it is very original, much like the gift, from John Penton...If you need one, pls. let me know......

Mike, I have 1 of Toms mask on my 77 GS 400 and it looks and functions great. Been on there for 3 years now and I cant remember how many rides.
Now if someone could invent a voltage and vibration proof head light...
