Title: Lectron Carburettors
Post by: Bill Campbell on August 04, 2008, 04:28:21 AM
We here in Australia are having a discussion about the eligibility of Lectron Carbies for racing. I've checked the site and see that in the USA they are legal for post 75 racing. Because Australian rules go along the line of factory equipment I would like to know if Lectron carbies were fitted to your Pentons at the KTM factory or were they fitted in Ohio. Does this mean that the Pentons arrived in the USA with a Bing on or no carby at all?
Cheers
Bill

Bill,

The Lectrons were used at OEM carbs on some of the Pentons, but honestly, I don't remember which years. KTM did put them on the engines in Austria.

Thanks for the input and offers. I don't need a Lectron as I am happy with the Bings on my bikes. Cheers again
