Title: funny Sachs joke
Post by: Marc Biro on October 01, 2008, 12:53:28 PM
I met a man with seven Sachs.
Each Sachs had seven shifts.
Each shift had seven shafts.
Each shaft had seven shims.
Shims, shafts, shifts, Sachs, how many were going to Saddleback?

Answer:  None.  They were all stuck in neutral.

Okay, theres a Saddleback Me. But theres no dirtbike ridng up there, just Skidoo's...  And I got  2 Sachs that dont ever miss a shift. Ones a 5 speed and the others a 6
and if you can find neutral, well it must have that clutch set up from the Hammers in Germany!!
Now its been awhile since I bought that set up from them. I can't   remember, but hot dam !! My bike shifts, and the clutch dosen't drag.

Hey, Marc.  Working on a POG video from Vintage Days 2006 (we're a little behind, with all the material we have to work with), and want to make sure we provide proper credit to builder of yellow, Yamaha-engined Penton motocrosser, which was on display at the POG tent that year.  It is your bike?

Hi Ted,

Yes, I built the Yellow Pentaha (Jackpiner frame/Yamaha motor) about 4 years ago. Hope it makes it in the video!
