Title: 1972 - 125 rear shock rebuild
Post by: Harris on December 10, 2001, 08:32:08 AM
Can the rear shock on a 72  125 Six Day be rebuilt? ( The ones with the chrome dust covers) I have one that is leaking oil. I want to make it look like new. Does anyone have one for sale?
Thanks, Harris

Harris
The rear shocks on the 68-71 can be rebuilt (ceriani) with new O rings and 80cc of 10w shock oil.  The shocks on the 72 (girling) are not rebuildable. Suitable replacements are Hagon, for restoration, Progressive, for racing.  Good Luck!
