As I recall, a skid plate might not be a bad idea.

Steve,

The last time at Zink they kept us on really easy trail and double track dirt road but there is abundant rock there so it would be good insurance.  For those that were there for the Real 6 Days years ago they know the potential rock piles there.  Wish I was going to be there to race but have commitments on the modern bike for Gold Rush Days just miles away.  Zink is a place that will feel like the real deal and the ghosts of 6 Days past will give you chills from the flags as you enter to the Parc De Fermme right where it once was.  Have fun!

I RACED AT THE ZINK RANCH,AS I RECALL THEY HAD A SECTION CALLED THE ROCK GARDEN. I LOST A FOOT PEG IN THAT SECTION,I DID HAVE A EXTRA ONE. GOOD LUCK TO ALL.  GARY ELLIS
