Have three mc-5 rubber air box to carb boots; what measurements would the 250-400 boot have? As I don't have the motor or air box in frame at this time. Would they have any offsets? Would the 125-175 have no offset[?] LG
Lg, which model are you talking about. If you are talking about the 250/400..73-75 then no, it uses the same style airb boot. If it is the MC5's then yes it does have a bit of an offset... I do have a brand new one and I will go out and see if I can find it... then I will give you some more detail information... As I recall before I could find a air boot I used a air boot off a husky.... by the way the intake manifold is different than the ones on the older bikes. It too is scued to one side.. this is to allow for the carb an expansion pipe clearance...
