Title: 1981 KTM 250/495 Triple Clamps Wanted

i am chasing a set of triple clamps for my 1981 250 mx and also a set for my 1981 495 mx project.
To suit the frame that the head section is approx ~178mm.

Any help appreciated.

I have a very nice set from a 1982 KTM 250,but there 40mm. I have nice set of 40mm forks also.

Curious as to the triple clamps if they are GS-specific and/or if there is any difference would that they be a motocross application.  I have 40mm forks for an 82' 250 looking for "correct-triple clamps" as the 38mm's were modified for a much taller rider.

Adrian,

The 250 & 495 frames are different.  The 250 has a head section that measures 150mm, while the 495 measures 180mm.  Also KTM used both 35 & 38mm forks in their 81 models.
