I have a very nice set from a 1982 KTM 250,but there 40mm. I have nice set of 40mm forks also.

Jon-
Curious as to the triple clamps if they are GS-specific and/or if there is any difference would that they be a motocross application. I have 40mm forks for an 82' 250 looking for "correct-triple clamps" as the 38mm's were modified for a much taller rider.
Thank you, sir.

Adrian,
The 250 & 495 frames are different. The 250 has a head section that measures 150mm, while the 495 measures 180mm. Also KTM used both 35 & 38mm forks in their 81 models.
