Title: J.P. Morgen Selector Keys (Sachs) – Recommended
Post by: Ernie Phillips on December 17, 2008, 10:04:46 AM
Earlier this year we busted a couple of repop selector keys.  The failures produced secondary damage wiping out layshafts and gears.  Not a pleasant experience.  Looking for a solution, I contacted JP and decided to try his 4340 keys.  At the time I inquired about the competition history of keys.  Unfortunately JP did not have any long term experience with his key.

Well, now I can offer following competition success of JP Morgen keys:  We raced 2-125s and 1-100 Penton in both AHRMA Cross Country and VMX.  Christopher and I both rode as hard as we could, missed our share of shifts, banged hard on the lever in times of panic, but had no selector key related problems.  If you are going to race a Sachs powered machine, JP makes a good product that will hold up.
