Hey Ric,

Curious why you think they dropped AHRMA Cross Country from Arizona round?  Also curious how you think the New National Organization out there will effect turnout?  Thanks for he input.  Thinking of coming through that way then on the way to Vegas.

Hi Larry,This year at least the dates won't be conflicting as last years was. That was really dumb having 2 vintage races on the same weekend within 1 hour of each other.Dave's race (duel in the desert)is the weekend before the ahrma event.Have no idea why they dropped the CC-maybe lack of space to run a long enough track?i don't know, maybe Chicago Jerry or Teddy Landers would know.Last year the turnout was split between the 2 so i expect this years should be good turnout both weekends.I plan on going to both.If you need a place to stay or anything let me know,i've got a spare room-i'm a little over an hour to the ahrma race and about 1 1/2 hours from Speedworld.I sent you a message offline with my contact info.Later,

Ric,

Can you send me your contact info to:[email protected]

I was planning on coming out to the Arizona AHRMA National and hoped to take you up on a crash place if the invite is still open.  I will warn you I am coming Yamaha equipped if that matters.:D  When Cross Country starts I will be aboard Penton, though.  Thanks!

Ric, Sorry to hear about the disc problem.  A few years back I had bulging L4 and L5 (lower). Had the sciatica
pain too. I had one epidural cortisone shot with what looked like a horse needle. It helped so much that I only
got the first one out of what was suppose to be "3". Also, I got this kidney belt type thing that had a built in pouch
for a ice pack. This this really seemed to help manage the pain. Try to keep those hamstrings stretched out too if you can.
Finally, it healed up on its own. No surgery thank God!
Hope you get better,
Jeff G.

Thanks Jeff,I'm on my 2nd epidural with 1 more to go.I don't look at the needle and don't want to know how big it is.They tried to go in the r-h side of my spine but too much arthiritis,so they went in thru my tailbone(i can't describe how much fun that was!).The steroids they shoot in there is definitely not helping my little weight problem but hopefully riding will.Later,
