Title: Sachs crank bearings
Post by: unkobil on December 27, 2001, 04:40:13 AM
I removed those funky copper caged ball bearings from the crankshaft of my 125 six days.  I was wondering when I replace them do I have to go OEM or are there aftermarket bearings available that will do the job.   Thanks guys

There are good quality bearings available that will replace the originals.  The important part is to go with the same style multi-piece bearings and not like a normal bearing.  There are many physics reasons for this but take my word for it and stay with that style.  They will probably run $70 to $100 for the pair for good ones.
