Title: POG Meeting Tonight in Texas
Post by: firstturn on February 01, 2009, 05:29:37 PM
Arizonia, Missouri & Texas Chapters are having a POG meeting tonight in Texas.  Word is that Tom Benolkin will be giving wheelie lessons on my Vespa 150.  Sorry for the short notice, but sometimes it just works that way....Skip Page, Dennis Jones, Phil and Ron Carbaugh so far.  I hope your team wins tonight.

Dennis looks good on the KRP.  We may have a new Class C guy;).  Wish you could be here....we are having a good time and there is some game on since we couldn't find any racing on TV.  Benolkin is wheeling the Vespa, but claims he needs more of a challenge...I have a lawntractor we may bring out.

Meeting is over and Skip Page put 800 miles on his BMW to make the meeting.  It was fun and Tom is still out working on my Lawntractor.  POG People are the best.  Mike, Dennis was real easy on your bike.

We missed you Ric.  maybe next meeting.  Skip should be about finished with his 800 mile trip right about now.  He put in 800 miles yesterday too.  Dennis and Phil are probably in Lawton Oklahoma by now on there way to Springfield Mo.  Mike the KRP is on its way.

My first Texas POG meeting was a blast and Lone Star was well represented, thanks Uncle Ronnie.

What a fun trip. We sat in the Garage Mahal with the doors open watching the Super Bowl It was 18 degrees when I left for Texas and 18 when I got home. The little 200 mile jaunt thru the Hill Country on the new to me BMW just might get me thru the winter. What spectacular country.

The KRP Flattracker suffered no ill effects of the meeting and has made it to it's final destination and a 74 Berkshire delivered to Texas is well on it's way to being transformed from a very nice example to a spectacular one.

I vote this meeting be made annual and a visit to the the seafood joint in Kerrville is mandatory.
