For the POG folks that live close enough to Athena , here is a chance to have a great trail ride. 40 miles or so over the area used in the Bad Rock 2 day's. All air cooled , twin shock , drum brake bikes are welcome.

Its too far for me to make but it will be a hoot for those close enough to make it.

Hi John,
This event is in my back yard and I'll be attending this year's event. I'll be covering it for Cycle News as a feature, so whomever can't attend will be able to read about it and check out the glossy photos. I'm going to try to do the Bad Rock ride on my steel tanker, so that will be way cool!

Paul Stannard and gang are doing a great job with this event. I hope that it my someday open the door for an ISDT Reunion out there on hallowed qualifier ground.

John D. thank you for posting this on the POG site. The Bad Rock trail ride is just that a "trail ride". Last year we did a forty mile loop on and off road in some of the most beautiful country you can imagine seeing. Bikes do NOT have to be street legal to enter.
