Title: Any updated information on Koni shocks?
Post by: OhioTed on February 10, 2009, 10:03:23 PM
I've been looking through the posts about the potential for locating a rebuild kit for old Konis, like these.

There's a lot of info, but it's all dated, and so far I've gotten nowhere.  Anyone have any updates?

If not, how about suggestions about some mid-priced shocks, and a source, for a '75 Mint 400, destined for AHRMA CC duty?

Ted,

I posted some information last year on an individual who is rebuilding Koni's, but I do not know of any available rebuid kits.

Check out my info at -

The info is much appreciated, guys.  I went ahead and called Steve Dorenkamp, the guy in Butler who is rebuilding Konis.  He was very helpful, and offered plenty of info.  Steve says he can be found on ebay, at SD Bike Parts.
