Something like this comes along every so often. I do not completely understand the thinking behind whomever has preserved this, but maybe it is a strange combination of circumstances. Anyway, check it out! Now, the seat cover, if original, is different from the other 1978s I have seen in that it says "Penton". Maybe the original was ripped or whatever and this is a dealer or owner replacement? Ok so they didn't have HDTV in 1978 but they did have lots of nice bikes!

You would think a museum or KTM would want this one. Or perhaps a St. Louis POG member? The seat thing seems a little odd but fixable.

Amazing. I remember when the one I purchased in 1978 looked like that, but after the first tank of gas that changed. They are only new once.
