Title: Frame ID
Post by: clayman on March 29, 2009, 05:27:51 PM
Can someone help me ID a frame? It starts with 54 412XXXX. I originally thought it was a 175 JP frame but am now thinking 250. Am I correct?

Thanks,

Clay,
It could be either one. Starting sometime in 1974, the 54-xxx frames were used for 175, 250, or even 400's in 1975-76. Mike

Hi Mike,

Thanks for letting me know. I was told it was a 175 when I got the chassis, but just wanted to double check. The frame is a high breather, which I forgot to mention.
