Title: Texas Carb Help Needed
Post by: Mick Milakovic on March 31, 2009, 08:02:58 PM
Hi All, sorry to post this twice, but I wanted to make sure it got read.  I put a new carb (34 Mikuni) on Ambr's Jackpiner for the Texas Cross Country and saw the carb-to-manifold boot was dry-rotted and torn open. Obviously the bike won't run right. It's the type that bolts onto the manifold. Is anybody going to the race that might have an extra?  After that I might have some jetting to sort out.  It has a 200 main and 25 pilot.  Thank you,

Mick

Turns out the manifold I had was a Sudco, and it fit "D" cylinders.  Found that out from the sheriff (thanks Ron), and I got a new manifold from Gary Ellis, and it uses a simple radiator hose to connect the Mikuni to the manifold.  Great advice, great friends, thanks all,
