Old JC is starting to be a good place for vintage parts. They have weld on repackable silencers for 15 to 20 bucks. Lots of neat exhaust mounting brackets, Pro Taper 5/8 bars, Progressive suspension, knobbies, Mikuni and Kiehin carbs and jets, ect. Just wanted to pass it along.
By the way Dennis Kirk also has vintage DG steel bolt on silencers.
Wow. We have a shop near by that is called Bent Bike, I have found lots of vintage stuff there. Sometimes it is just fun to dig through the bins of motorcycle "stuff" I even found a set of Penton OEM brakes shoes still in its package for about half the price.

Do they have a website or how do you access this stuff?
Mike,
The websites are here:

At DK just search on DG Silencer and at JCW search for Silencer in the motorcycle section.
I have used several of the JCW silencers on various racers in the past and they work just fine. A little on the heavy side but bike weight is the lowest priority on my list of issues.:D
