Title: Wanted for '73 Berkshire Project
Post by: iyaoyas on May 19, 2009, 11:40:57 AM
Can anyone help me find the following NOS or like new parts for my '73 Berkshire restoration project: (Born date is March 1973)

-4.00x18 Hi-Point Tire
-Rear shocks (for competition, not show)
-Enduro lighting kit for 32mm Cerani forks
-Aluminum fenders (Q: Was this bike configured with or without aluminum fenders?) if not then perhaps Preston Petty fenders?
-Fuel tank strap

Thank you,
Stephen

You want a 350X18 or a 375X18.  400X18 too big for a 100cc.
Shocks, Works Performance makes great shocks for this model. I have them on my 72 Six Day.

Thanks Dwight! I've taken this bike to VMD for a few years running now have finally committed myself to restoring it to it's former glory.  I'm excited with the progress I've mde thusfar and only need a few more parts to complete the bike.  I appreciate your feedback and the help I've received from all my fellow Poggers.
