Down East Pentons
It looks like one of those KTM factory prototype bikes.
I beleive that it is a 1977 Super-Motard Jackpiner.
There was only 1 built and it was never put into production because the cost of building them at the time exceeded what riders back then were willing to pay for a bike.
The other deterent was the smooth tires. There was just no way you could get them to grab any traction on a muddy hill. Dave Sanders acquired it from the Penton shop when they were liquidating everything and it was sitting in Dave's barn until now.
Dave did a beautiful job restoring it.
