Does anyone have recommendations on a Fork spring manufacturer that can provide springs for vintage bikes based on rider weight and information provided from the original springs such as wire diameter, free length, Etc? I need stiffer springs for different bikes including Pentons and 76-78 RM Suzukis. I am working on a 78.5 RM250 that I had to add an additional 1-3/4 spacer to get the spring sag acceptable, but I am afraid of coil bind and would rather do it right. Thanks, Mike

Mike, e-mail me off-line. I think I have a guy who can get them made.

Try Cannon Racecraft Inc. in oklahoma city. I've had good luck with them. Gary

Lew,
I sent you an email earlier. Let me know if you didn't get it.
Gary,
Thanks for the info. As it happens I ran across Cannon's site today while searching for Custom MX springs, and it seems that they know their stuff and use only the best quality steel. I just wanted to see if anyone had used anyone in particular before going to an unknown source. Thanks, Mike

I sent it yesterday but I resent it again. I have your right e-mail address.

I got it this time, Thanks. It's nice to have more than one choice for price comparison on custom applications like these. Mike
