American Retrocross in So Cal. is hosting the 1st. Marty Tripes 100 cc Works Revenge MX series at Glen Helen raceway , REM track , July 12-09 . No membership required , ARX classes are also available - pre65 to modern and age classes .

I have a spare Six Day....just "arrive and drive" !

(and an "old" red tank and a 97 cc ignition cover) SHHHHH[}:)]

I would enjoy watching a Penton smoke everyone, as I have been sidelined.

Just UPS the cylinder out and we'll have it all set before you arrive OR the following are your ride choices, your skills will do at the Glen Helen REM track.  

The Berkie is a stock 49 mm fresh motor and needs about a day to get set up.  The "White Weapon" is a hot "D" 125 with a PVL and a 28 Bing , as is the green Six Day.

I really appreciate the bike offer, but there is no way I can get out there. One of these days I'll make it out there for a race, but this year I already have all of my vacation time used up for other races.

I am bummed I missed this! I thought I saw something about this, but, I figured it was something I stumbled on in the archives and was imagining it.

  I was driving home to Chino Hills from Barstow, Sunday morning and went by Glen Helen around 9:30 am.  

  My bike is almost complete and I wanted to stop by and meet some West Coast POGGER's.

I live in Anaheim Hills just down the 71 and have a 1972 6 Day/Berkshire in the garage. Let me know if you need any help finishing up your bike. Greg.

The bike is in Barstow in my Living room.  It's almost done.  Nothing like the bikes I've seen on this web-site.  Thanks for the offer.  I want to go to a vintage MX really bad.

 American Retrocross ( ARX ) will be having a vintage race just down the hill from you at Competitive Edge raceway on Sept . 13-09 , 395 & I 15 , signup starts at 8AM . No membership required , classes for every bike and everybody , race vintage , PV to modern , on a vintage friendly track . More info at //www.americanretrocross.org

Marty will be running the MT 100's again with AmericanRetrocross , Sept. 13th at Competitive Edge raceway hillside track , So.Cal. Camping and Marty Tripes BBQ Saturday night at the track .
 
  I haven't seen any Penton Berkies showing up , your not afraid of getting roosted by some Honda 4 stroke 100's are ya ?

ALERT.

I checked the ARX Site..........THE COMPETITIVE EDGE RACE IS SUNDAY THE 13TH....NOT THE 6TH.

Please confirm.  Let's double check.

Victor, very glad to see you riding again.  I will see you at Competitive Edge on the 13th.  I will bring the MC5.  The weather forecast, if you can believe them, says 80 degrees and showers. (? in September, in the dessert????) Oh well, we will just wait and see.  See you next week.  Unfortunately I can't make the Bar-B-Que.  I have 12 hours of continuing education I have to take on Saturday, 7am to 7:30pm up in Oxnard.

My bikes not ready, but, I am.  I'm gonna ride my BMW GS to the race Sunday.  Hopefully I will get to meet some fellow POGGER's there.

The weather has been hot lately, but it should be cooler by this weekend.

I'll save my Penton for the cooler months (Elsinore GP if they run it in town). Instead I think I will race my WR250F at at D37 qualifier. A little easier on my old body.
