Title: DKW 1972 enduro value
Post by: t20sl on July 18, 2009, 05:09:05 PM
Anyone have an idea of value on a low mileage all original DKW?  less than 300 road miles. 1 owner.  All chrome still shines and paint is excellent.  Lights, speedo switches are as new.  If you look closely there is faint chrome speckles here and there.  Was stored in heated buildings most of its life I imagine.  Original Metzlers in excellent condition, no dry rot.  Any help appreciated.

I bought one almost identical in perfect condition for $1,300.  Needed nothing.  BUT, what ever the market will bear.

I paid $1565 for a motocrosser in good riding condition and then spent about another $2000 to get it back to "new" condition. It may be more of a buyer's market right now. Good luck. Let us know what you decide to ask. There may be some interest here.
