This is an item that was sold by Hi-Point.  My understanding is that Hi-Point was formed by the Penton family to produce accessories to complement their bikes.  Like everthing associated with John Penton, they offered very high quality stuff.  Their boots were among the very best on the market.  Okay guys.  If I got it all wrong, please set the record straight!  LOL:D  Lots of very seasoned Penton riders and heroes on this board!  Regards, Bob

P.S.  Larry, I know you are lurking out there.  Did I get it right!?!

Hey Guys:

This thing is still at $77.00 with only 2 days left.  I hope you POG guys aren't going to let an outsider make off with this nice piece of Penton history!!!:D

Wanted / For Sale / Hi-Point MX boots
March 09, 2007, 08:26:39 AM
Hi Guys:  I picked up a set of Hi-Point MX boots yesterday.  These are the old style with straps and buckles.  I believe they are size 10 1/2.  Have the red, white and green insert on the back above the heel.  Dirty and well broken in, but seem to be sound.  No tears, missing straps etc.  What do you think they are worth?  Thanks, Bob

I have a very clean aluminum tank for a Penton.  I'm not sure if it's a Hi-Point piece or what.  Absolutely beautiful welds etc.  Very nice condition.  Looks like it was Jackpiner blue once upon a time.  If interested, it's on E-Bay.  Starting bid of $75.00 and NO RESERVE.  Thanks!

This auction ends this afternoon. 03/09/05.  Please take a look.

Wanted / For Sale / New Simpson Super Bandit on e-bay.

I've just listed my Simpson Super Bandit helmet on e-bay.  The helmet is brand new and comes with a spare visor (Smoke) and a Simpson helmet bag.  Starting bid is a ridiculous $75.00 and there is NO RESERVE.  I thought one of you vintage guys might need a great helmet at a real bargain price.  Thanks!  Bob

I presume some of you have seen the Penton anniversary model on e-bay.  What's the hot scoop on this model?  Looks like a Husky 125 to me.  :)Larry, my apologies for saying the "E" word!!!  Thanks,  RGR

Penton Talk / What is a "Six Day Replica"?
September 24, 2004, 12:31:40 PM
I'm looking at a 125 Penton that the owner says is a "Six Day Replica".  It has the typical Green plastic tank and side covers.  Fenders are yellow.  Apparently complete except for the stator.  Can anybody give me any insight on what it is and approximate value?  Many thanks!  Bob

Penton Talk / Gathering in Tulsa?
September 21, 2004, 09:01:37 AM
Can anybody give me details on the re-union in Tulsa?  Would this be a good place to purchase a bike?  I'm looking for a restored bike if possible.  Failing that, a very complete bike that I can have restored.  Is anybody doing quality resto work on Pentons?  I know Kip is the man for motor rebuilds.  Many thanks!  RGR - Dallas, TX

Penton Talk / Wassel restoration parts available?
September 03, 2004, 05:58:49 PM

I had a Penton trials bike many winters ago when I was young.  I'm now much older and would like to get one and restore it for old times sake and to ride.  Are these bikes available and can you get the necessary parts / stickers etc. to restore them?  Any words of wisdom would be appreciated.  Thanks!:D
