Transmision comes with both lay shafts with gears,shift drum shift forks and shaft with quadrant, purchased many years ago,from a shop in Cave Creek AZ called Premier cycles.been in same box marked 1977 ktm tranny.At the time I purchased.several boxes from them this was just one. Just never used it thx Randy.

Doug when I lived in Texas I ran into a parts bike with motor stamped late 1975, The frame was a non high breather, The back bone tubing was the same round back bone tubing used on the 1976 MC-5 bikes, Just figured it was some type pf transision period into the mc-5 model. Anybody else have a answer for this one....

Mike maybe I should be refuring to a 1978 to 1979  125/175cc mx model exhaust are they the same or is the 125cc exhaust have diferent specs than the 175cc....any help would be great....

Hey Pogers long time ago when I was working and racing for Bobby Lucas alias ktm gooroo,and for his vintage race shopin Arlington TX While visiting family in greater Phoenix Ariz area ran across two KTM vintage bikes 75 model machines which I purchased both 250s while dissembling them I noticed both did not have the high breather back bones but single tubes same size tubes found on MC-5S Both motors were stamped late 1975 we figured late year transition into into mc-5 the only two frames we ever saw like that and propably came from west coast dist kind of weird....

Machine looks little to rusty for the$$$$$$.....
