If you're looking at this, you know the story.


This is a Limited Edition 1997.5 KTM Jack Pine 200 EXC LE.


This particular bike actually won its namesake race.


It was also the personal bike of Rod Bush (my dad).


 


My lady starts clinicals in January, for a year and a half, so it will be my turn to take over the majority of everything, ans this bike will be  a downpayment on our first home. I've been doing flooring, and making decent money, but once she starts clinicals, she slowly ramps up from 1 un-paid work day in a hospital a week, to 5 days a week of un-paid work in a hospital... so I'm screwed (sarcasm)...


 


Anyway, thanks for looking, someone is going to get a very rad piece of history here... Jack Penton rode it at an ISDT reunion ride, either Allen Gravitt (sp?) or Allen Randt won the Jack pine on this bike. My dad, Rod Bush rode the bike multiple times, I have ridden this gorgeous dirt bike as well...

I also lowered the price to $6250. I am about to try to add pictures, again.

My mom and I are trying to find the services and funeral arrangements,
but with no luck either.

Has anyone heard anything?


RIP Dane... The Leimbach family is in the Bush family thoughts and prayers.
Hopefully Dane is up there ripping up the trails with my dad.
They sure have a good crew up there.

Just buy mine, its nice and in the for sale section.


P.S. I think I have ALL the leftover green plastics and graphics, as they were about to get pitched when KTM built the new parts dept.

I'm a poor college student, and we totally can't afford one, but I've been saving, and she knows how bad I want one.  I think she's pretty cool about it!

Little does she know that soon there may be as much old stuff as I have new stuff

I'm in Ohio, I will drive some tho.

I have a max of 1000 budget.  I'd eventually like to ride it and race it at the reunion rides and some ahrma stuff, then clean it up, put it next to my dad's 1997.5 LE's, all pretty between uses.

It has at least look OK, so I can continue to have my girlfriend convinced that I "need" this.

Or am I crazy to think I can get an old bike on a college students budget?

I guess I just need a wrecked one?

I'm pretty sure that they made another run.  I have 1 of each.



Also, Paul, the Bike Shop was in Parkersburg, WV

There's only 5 green and I think 277 of the blue.

the original plan was 5 and 133.  I'm pretty sure they made another run of the blue 200's.

The Jack Piner we have actually won the Jack Pine Enduro,
I think Alan Randt or Alan Gravitt rode it to victory.
