Dan...I am very apologetic in that I did not find the  disappearing decal. Last I saw it I had placed it on my desk in a fashion that would keep it from being damaged while lying on my cluttered desk.I thought I had put it in an envelope ready for shipping....The decal is nowhere to be found....I have gone through all my papers etc. and I can not locate it....In the event that I completely did something stupid, I went thru my paper shredder basket piece by piece looking for a trace of the decal...nada...At least if I found a trace, the mystry would be solved and I could better accept my stupidity.

In an effort to hold up my end of the deal, I went thru all my old stuff in the bottom of my catch all drawers from yesteryear with the slim hope that I just might have saved another...again...nada....

I have a Penton foil decal from the late 60's or early 70's...it has crossed black and white checkered flags with the green and silver PENTON logo oval in center....Price $10.00...sold one like it on forum back a few years ago...This one is nicer as it has no fold lines...its flat...tnx....Larry

Note...Doug Wilford of the Penton Owners Group offers the following comment....."These were made up as a Hi-Point accessorie.    I am not sure if the design was done by Matt Weismann (our ad man) or if it was imported from Europe (Italy maybe).       It did seem like we had those around 1973."
