Then clean the cylinder head in ultrasonic with a mild soap solution.

Hi, are there any of you who use the HPI kits?
Sometimes, I hear that these don't fit correctly on the Sachs engines?
With my Sachs 1251/5GS and 6GS engines this works perfectly.
I would like to hear your experience with these.
Also the conversion of kits with Motoplat inner rotor works well. Here you can keep the original Motolat flywheel, stator + HV coil must be replaced by HPI.
This kit has no possibility for lighting.

I have made inquiries, apparently the shafts are not listed in the parts list.
Only the different types of cylinder, piston and cylinder head are described.
However, there is a SACHS order number on the original packaging.
Maybe someone has the shaft numbers with the corresponding cylinders.

I've been using the HPI ignitions for my Sachs 125 engines for years. Work excellent and have a good price. The company is located at a few dozen kilometers from where I live
You have to be careful that the flywheel is properly mounted. There is no key present so correct position is very important.
I always mount these in combination with Loctite 641 (cylindrical mounting) to ensure the cone is properly connected.
