I have a complete 1977 (with s couple exceptions) in Michigan.

As long as the suspension fits the 4" rear and 7" front travel requirements.

My guess is you have not joined the Penton Owners Group and receiving the newsletter.  Expect to hear more on vMD in the future.

I pulled Doug's bike out to make the trip to the AMA Museum this Saturday April, 29th.

This morning Rob posted information on "Message Board Tips and Help" and "How To Post A Photo On The Message Board".  I had inquired on going to the newest post on a subject and not the oldest.  His instructions were very helpful and with the change made in my profile the newest comment(s) are shown.  If I remember correctly the old system worked opposite of the current default.  The drag and drop feature of posting photos takes the guesswork out of resizing by doing it automictically 

Every project needs to start somewhere.  I can't remember exactly where the '72 frame was acquired.  The seat I am going to use came off another Penton.  It was not original, and I never liked the overstuffed look.  More to follow as spring and warmer weather are around the corner.  Hoping to have it ready and a rider found before VMD 2023.

Five years ago today, I met this nice young person from Ohio who likes and races motorcycles and wanted a Penton.  So.... I guess this is what "did I do to my Penton" in the past.  The sale of the bike was the first of many great experiences both in person and at the track to follow.
