Yep,,, That fall in Oct 2010, took all the wind out of my sails.  I've fallen off street bikes, dirt bikes, and have just plain fallen down, but, Never have I been in so much pain for so long.

The thing that gets me, It was the slowest fall in the history of mankind.  It was even slower than the fall of the Roman Empire.

Yea Lloyd, still Lurking.  Unfortunatly Injury has forced retirement.

We were talking about that yesterday at work.  I told them Roger D was a winner and so is Dungey.  This afternoon I turned on the TV just as the gate droped.  I was glued to the TV the whole race.

Never met the Man, but through out the years I read about his many accomplishments.

I wonder if the POG South West Membership could come up with something to do at the ARX Events?  Little Stickers,  T-Shirts,  Etc.

You know,  I've been watching the temps closer than ever this year and it actually has been hotter in the Mid-east, east and south, than it has been in the Mojave Desert.   Ugh!!!

Oh yea,  I'm going back.  The Kids live up there now, so it will be visiting pretty regulary.  They're married and I'm sure grandkids will following soon.

 Now I know why so many people leave CA and head up there.  It was beautiful.

I got to give it up to the wife.  She was a real trooper. 500 miles a day on the back of a Yamaha Warrior is not the most comfortable ride around, but we had a blast.

Maybe the smarter members can chim in here, if I'm way off base.  But I threw my brakes into a pot of boiling water, to get all the old grim off of them.  Didn't keep them in for long, just wanted to loosen up any oil or greese that might have gotten on them.  They seem to work fine now.

Another cool KTM shop in So Cal is Bert's in Covina.  For my Beemer stuff you can't beat Irv Saver's in Orange.  Just to see all his old beemers hanging from the celling.

It would been cool if you could have gone to one of the ARX races.

I too extend a invite to all Pogers.  "The Barstow" is the place If you want to ride in the desert.

Mt Hood, St Helens, Rainer.  It was funny,  I didn't relize how big and pointy those maountains are. They look just Like Volcano's.  The whole time I was riding around them, was "There gonna blow" and "How fast can I out run the Pyroclastic flow"

Oh,, BTW,,  I stopped by the KTM Dealer in Tacoma,  A little shop.  The place was loaded with Pentons ALL for sale.  Plus he had Maico's Husky's, Bultaco's etc etc.  Kinda pricey, but he said all the bike worked good.  The guy behind the Counter said the owner had BARN's full of old bikes.  I was drooling

Thanks Guys,  I'm sure we made it to Gig Harbor.  I know its not Penton related, but I had to stop racing, dirt bike riding, Everything, to get my Yamaha Warrior ready for this trip.  Can'r wait to get back Racing.
