I can finally say I figured out how to make my DKW shift whenever I want. I repowered it to a Yamaha mx 125 bottom end with a 100 top end. Oh Happy days:D

Yeah good to meet you Lloyd.  Sorry i couldnt have seen you race much i was busy trying to get my bike DKW to shift.  I was unsucessful.  Oh well change a cometh.

ARX announced on their facebook page that Preston Petty will be there.  Geat he will be there to see my new DKW hornet.  I will be taking it real easy on that bike tomorrow. i just got it done at 8 tonight.  se you guys there.

Hello everyone.  I would like to say that i really enjoy this forum.  I have referred to this forum on many occasions.  After this weekend i will officially register as a active member.  I am on the tail end of a build of a 1972 DKW 125 motocross hornet set up to race the Marty Tripes 100 works revenge.  I am planning to take it to competitive edge this Sunday.  I don't think i will have a day of testing my new ride but i will be doing some tuning around the shop.  I have desleeved the motor to the 100cc class rules, and also changed the suspension.  I did not paint the frame as i have not received my new shock and i dont know if the resivors will fit the frame.  Hope to maybe meet a couple of you guys out there.  I went out there last time with my red Sachs/DKW but I had the trans shimmed wrong and never got a lap in.
