Hi Paul,

I'll ship only with DHL. Cheap and reliable.

UPS parcel will be more than 200 EUR.

An insured DHL parcel up to 5 kg to every place in the US will be 35 EUR. I'll have to check the weight, if a small parcel, uninsured, up to 2 kg is also possible. Then it'll be only 16 EUR.

The best idea will be a combined parcel to a place in the US, from where you distribute the books on your own.

Hi Alan,

I assume you're talking about 1975, when Zuendapp was very successfull there. I'm sorry, but I've no informations on this story, but maybe Leo K. He and Doug met each other on several Reunion Rides in the early 2000s.

Hi Guenther,

When you mention the Hercules bikes being at ISDT events, I would like to mention that POG member and trustee Doug Wilford rode with the West German team on a Hercules ****el powered motorcycle. I believe that it was on the Isle of Man in the late 70s. He told me a story of the West German team being there a week before the event to get practice time on those bikes and get familiar with the terrain. The Germans were having trouble getting their bikes up the sand dunes along a beach. They were down shifting when going up the hills. Doug showed them that on those bikes you had to up shift in order to make it over the top. Unfortunately none of those bikes finished the event.

Perhaps you can supply more information on this.

Hi T20SL,

there is an english booklet and the end of the book, which you may take out to watch the pictures and read the text in parallel.

How is the book translated?  On each page or in the back?  Where does one purchase it?  Thanks

Penton Talk / Bing carbs
October 08, 2013, 06:35:05 AM
Hi Edd,

the old floater in white color have been the first versions, which were later replaced by the solid black ones, which are still being produced by Bing. Bing put the Type 53/54 back on the production line as these carbs are being used for the MZ 250 2-strokes still being produced in Turkey.
