Priority Mail flat rate is great for heavy items. But for medium-sized stuff that won't go flat rate, I find that FedEx Ground is way cheaper than UPS, and usually gets there faster. You can insure FedEx and all, and I've never had them lose anything.

Oh yeah-- I forgot to mention I have 9 or 10 other Mahle pistons for later model KTMs; like late-'80s and early'90s models. If you're interested let me know, and I'll send you a list of them.

Hi all, I have a brand new Elko Jackpiner piston kit with rings and pin, but no clips. The part number is 52.30.007.000 It is a 63.5 mm oversize, and it fits the 175 GS/MC from 1972 to 1975. Hi all! Boy, I wish I lived closer so I could attend more of the POG meetings. I had a lot of fun at the AMA annual meeting last year, and hope to get to another one some time this year.

In the mean time, I have a couple of NOS Penton pistons for sale. Both are original Mahle pistons, not Wiseco. They're the best you can get. The boxes are shelf worn and rough, but the pistons and parts are new and ready to use. Here's what I've got that might be of interest:

1 each, 54.30.007.000 71mm piston kit for the 1973-81 250cc GS/MC engine type 54. Piston, pin and rings in the box, but NO CLIPS.

1 each, 52.30.007.000 63.5mm piston kit for the 1972-75 175 GS/MC engine type 52. Piston, pin and rings in the box, but NO CLIPS.
