I have a real nice 1978 MC5 that I have ridden a couple of times  after restoration. I hate to sell but I have to. Asking $4500.00 or best offer. PM me for photos.

1978 KTM 250 MC5 which is a five speed this one has been converted to a six speed.

Stripped to the frame and powder coated . The frame the swingarm and the lower forks.
Frame and swingarm assembled with new bearings and seals
New wheel-bearings,brake shoes all hardware new tires and tubes
New sprockets and chain. New chain roller and all rub blocks.
New folding shift lever new stainless steel foot pegs all cables replaced with Terry Teflon lined cables
Fuel tank painted with Imron and clearcoated all new factory reproduction decals.
All new rubber connectors from the airbox to the carburetor in the carburetor to the cylinder. New air filter.
Custom made cone pipe from Circle F exhaust.
Engine completely disassembled and glass beaded. Cylinder was bored and new piston and connecting rod all new bearings throughout the entire engine all new seals. Engine  was sent to (Chicago Jerry) and assembled. Also has brand new PVL electronic ignition.
Basically nothing is been spared every bolt or piece of hardware has been replaced.
I also have lots of shop manuals in the parts manuals for it. Most of the parts were bought from Al Buehner.

Does anyone have a good set of fork tubes? I have one that must have a slight bend. I put in new fork seals and can feel a tight spot. Thanks

I'm 6'3" 250 lbs. What wt. fork oil and capacity would you experts recommend? Also what would be good for a two inch spacer to preload the fork springs. Thanks
