Thanks Paul, I'll have another go when I get chance. I did give it a good clean out when I got the bike last year but then got sidetracked with other projects like you do and never tested it at the time. I've just seen a type 84 copy on ebay from Hong Kong at $39.99, is this compatible with mine?

I had asked him prior to the sale ending if he would sell the case separately but no deal.
Sort of good news that I completed most of the Beamishh event over in the UK, I even met an American taking pics on one of the stages.Sadly I had an electrical problem after about 90 miles and had to be picked up by the recovery vehicle. I did meet another Wassell Bantam owner who also has a Wassell Antelope. We were going to swap details at the lunch stop but I missed him, hopefully he will find me through the club or I'll see him next year.  http://www.beamishtt.com/

Sadly the auction was ended early (even though it had bids), the seller had a frame as well on buy it now so I guess whoever bought the frame negotiated the other bits as well.

No sadly its not, its a different design and on the other side. If someone can please explain to me how to put a picture on Ill post one!

Hi Jim, its a lovely tank. I think its for a Wassell Bantam, its certainly the same as the one on mine and different from the Mudlark in that it has the larger cut out at the back.

I have a Mudlark with a Sachs 1251/5a motor. I can only get it to start and run with the choke on. I raised the needle and adjusted the mixture screw with little effect. When I took the slide out it appears to have been fettled quite a bit or maybe its just wear? Is there anyone who can supply slides for this carb?
