Can you send me some photos of what you have?

I've changed a lot of sleeves on Japanese machines, usually drop right out after heating them up. Not having any success heating this Berkshire cylinder. Am I missing something?

That's exactly what I am doing. I put a set on my hare-scrambler. Need some for the 100 and 125 now.

Anyone have a source for MC5 springs?

I can bring 1-2 depending on how much room I have in the Hi-Point.

I have what I originally thought was a Jackpiner sleeve but upon closer inspection is for 54mm bore. I'm guessing it's for 1st generation 125 KTM? $200 plus shipping or trade.

Thanks guys. This sort of confirms what I have thought for years. This machine was purchased used by me in 1978 at Avon Sportcycles, just outside of Lorain Ohio. Had lots of other mods as well. Would be cool to know who rode it before I did.

I've been searching for information as well about a Berkshire I have owned since the late 1970s, Also had paint marks on the cases and cylinder was drilled. Can't imagine any other reason for this to be done?

I wouldn't restore that one. Clean it up, fix whatever is broken, and ride it. They are only original once.

For early 80s 250cc. Housing is bad on the lower one and internals missing on the upper one. Let me know if you have anything that will work. Thanks.

Does anyone recall what year Penton used aluminum seat pan? I bought a new seat at Penton Brothers Honda in the late 70s as a replacement for the broken fiberglass seat on my 74 Berkshire. It worked OK but didn't seem to fit exactly the same.
