Enjoy Hawaii. I spent 5 1/2 years there and wanted to stay, but uncle sam said I'd been there too long and sent me to San Diego... We have had snow/ice on the ground here in NE Arkansas for almost 2 weeks. I know that's nothing really, but for here it is unheard of!!

My new 1969 Six Day had a VW bug tail pipe welded in place of the stinger. They were chrome, but had been painted black. After 6 months of riding, the black paint started wearing off and you could then see the chrome. This came right out of the crate from Penton this way. Mine was the Enduro model and the other one that arrived the same day was an MX model and it just had a stinger.

My last year of racing every weekend was Oct 1973 and I'm sure Preston Petty fenders were in use by then. I could be wrong, but I recall using them at least part of that year. As a matter of fact I remember him trying to sell his fenders in 70 or 71 during an ISDT. I think in 1972 he expanded his product line to other items and not just fenders.

No head gasket on the cast cylinders. Parts manual 002 also includes parts for the aluminum cylinders.

I have the real deal, not the one made in China. I know mine cost almost $600.00, but it has lasted me over 11 years with zero maintenance. It came with i-bolts for the tie downs and I did no modifications at all and works perfect. Sure beats hanging a bike from the overhead with tie down straps.  Well worth the investment, IMO.

Someone may have a tag for the cover, so you may not have to replace the entire cover. I have a tag for the D engine and one for the 125 GS PRO, but none for a 100cc but someone else may have one.
