I purchased this from Europe at a time before Al B. had the long-skirt pistons remade.  It was represented to be the long skirt, as is written on the box in the image, but is, in fact, a short skirt.  The part number would indicate as such.  $150.

I bought this on eBay years ago to replace a bent swingarm on the frame I was going to use for my 400 project.  It is powder coated.  The needle bearings will need to be removed and replaced.  $100

I am cleaning out my workshop, and my 400 project needs to find a new owner.  The engine needs love, and some of these parts will help.  I bought this on eBay in 2003 and intended for a complete rebuild in order to race.

The serial number is 4-5500906.  The cylinder is 81.25mm, as that is the piston that is on the rod, but obviously will need a bore job. Cylinder is ELKO EZ 81.

A Doug Wilford rebuilt Sachs originally from a 125 Rupp.  The original 125 engine was low-hours, having hung a ring in the exhaust port while still on standard bore.  Doug said the bottom end was like new, but as it was going to be raced as a 100, new main bearings were installed.  The 125 cylinder was trashed so I bought an NOS 100cc top end - cylinder, head and standard piston - from Larry Perkins via eBay.  The ignition is a PVL from Dane L.

This engine is pristine and was never mounted or fired.

Dear Poggers,

I've rejoined the message board after 12 years off.  I broke my heel bone in my first AHRMA 250 race on my '74 HS in August of 2004.  I have not ridden since.  Other matters intervened, as well, and now it's time to move on and sell some of the project items that I'll never get to in my lifetime.

I'm figuring out how to attach images and hopefully will have something posted today in the "For Sale" section.
