Type "Jackpiner pictures in the search box. There is a shot of a Jackpiner handle bar set up. Well worn but, gives an idea what was bolted there.

The Grandson and myself will be there Saturday and looking forward to stopping in for a visit!

I watched the Leroy Winters 30th Anniversary ISDT 1973 reunion ride last night. It can be found on You Tube television.

Update:
Installed Mikuni. Fired up second kick. Tuned, runs like a champ. Of course I'll keep the Bing on the shelf for originality.

That's probably the culprit. Bing I have is a 84/32/3214. I'll be better off just picking up a 32mm $85.00 Mikuni and tune. There is plenty of info on here about the swap. Thanks for the reply.

Yes, mounts properly installed. Cylinder intake presently has the bolt on rubber adapter for carb mount. I have a non rubber adapter that is designed for the clamp on Bings. I will install it and use radiator hose for joint. Maybe it will allow the Bing to come forward enough to get Clearance. There was a Mikuni in a box that was a part of the loose goodies at purchase. The Mikuni is in poor condition. Missing parts. The Bing I have is in great shape. Just needing to get started right now for an assessment. Might install the Mikuni later. I know you guys have come across every scenario there is with these Penton's and I enjoy learning more about them everyday.

Ahh yes NJB's. I have just been doing research on these. Look like the best of both worlds. I notice a lot of Trails riders are using them. They make a Trails and a MX version. The Ultimate MX version is like Kevin says, the length is adjustable and they offer a 90 LB. spring for beefy riders.
Issue I have with the 73 Jackpiner is the circumference of the other shocks I have on hand. Curnutts and Progressives will end up with chain rash.
I sure would like to know how the NJB's work for you Kevin.
