Penton Talk / Ask John Penton to sign Number Plate?

I had hear that if you send John something to sigh, he would be kind enough to sign it. I wanted my plate for my Jackpiner signed. Anyone know the best way to get it to him? Thanks.

Penton Talk / 1973 KTM Jackpiner??? Need Some History.

I went to the Barber Vintage Festival and there were a handful of Pentons for sale, two were under $1500 and one even said it had a fresh motor. On the last row I found another "Penton" but the tank is a different blue and it has KTM decals. Owner told me it was a European Bike and may have come from Germany. If it is not a KTM, is it still a Jackpiner? Is it less desirable than a Penton? I bought it cause it ran well, it all seems to work and it looked liked the nicest of the Penton/KTM's at the swap meet. Really just bought it for display purposes. Walking it out of the paddock, it got a ton of attention. Lights don't work and it looks to have a rigged up petcock and fuel lines, but it runs, shifts and stops well. Seat and tank straps are questionable, do they belong? It also has a steering lock and appears to have turn signal switches on the handlebar.

Anyone know about this bike or where I can find more information?
