Hello everyone! I have some parts I am currently still looking for. I am getting pretty far along in my 74 Harescrambler build that I am racing in the FIM Enduro Vintage Trophy in Germany next year. I still need these three major things.
-1. NOS or close to no wear Bing 54 Carb 2/36/102.
-2. Good, useable, with no cracks or damage Red Airbox
-3. Good condition Ceriani 35mm forks with 200mm travel, also preferred with the reinforced lower stachions, don't need to be ready to go can need rebuilt I will be changing internals anyway.

Please let me know if anyone has these for purchase or I would accept parts sponsorship as well if anyone wanted to help out the effort!

Thanks, Clint Hawk

Yes one position above the very bottom clip, on the richer side of the needle. Yes everything is clean.

Penton Talk / Penton dealerships and bike shops.

Does anyone have any info on Penton Dealerships in Tennessee? I'm from East TN and know there was one in Knoxville. Just curious if anyone remembers any others or that one. Interesting side note my local KTM dealer has been in business since 1985. He bought parts inventory from the guy who was the Penton/KTM dealer at the time and with was a huge lot of early Penton parts. He sold the bulk to a vintage parts dealer in Ohio in the mid 80's. He did keep a few things as souvenirs like a couple of NOS VDO's which he still has. We also don't live far from Tellico Plains where they had ISDE qualifiers.  I'd love to know a bit more info on Pentons in my area. Thanks!

The origin and current location would be interesting to see. As a side note it would be interesting to see who has the extras that came with these bikes still.

I just joined the FB group. One thing that would help the privacy there will be more strict questions when someone is joining and maybe confirm the ownership of these bikes before joining. That would keep out the looky lous and then privacy wouldn't be as big of an issue.

I would be interested in a FB page. There was talk of a registry here and I sent my info in but haven't heard anything else about it in 6 months. I have #53 and would like to see how many of these bikes are still out there!

I have #53 of the 133. Mine came with the hard to find extra stuff that came with them. Bought it from the original owner with a NOS set of plastic and two NOS sets of graphics plus the 30th anniversary coffee mug, beer mug, hat, polo shirt, tee shirt, duffel bag, a super rare 30th anniversary sticker pack, and brief case. There is one offered right now on Facebook in the "KTM 200 Club" group that looks to be in great condition. I would check that one out.

I've emailed Bing directly before for decoding all that. They were very helpful.

It was nice meeting you there John! I have a few things to sort on mine as well and hopefully I can put the little Six Day in the top 5 overall when we finally get back to racing. I was glad to see a few more Pentons out and about.

John, I sent you an email through the forum. Thanks, Clint

I'm 98% sure the carb that was on it was a Bing 84. I will double check that tomorrow though.

The options Bing's website give me to choose from are... 3S1, 4E1, 401, 601, 6G1, 6L1, 8E1, 8H1, 8M1, OB1, 46-291, 46-292, 46-293, 46-293. I'm at a loss on these part numbers.
