Penton Talk / Penton dealerships and bike shops.

Those Qualifiers were put on by the Volunteer Riders, which was based in Knoxville.  I learned of them at Knoxville Harley Davidson when my wife and I moved there in 1975.  Dial Brown was the Penton, Husky dealer at that time.

Does anyone have any info on Penton Dealerships in Tennessee? I'm from East TN and know there was one in Knoxville. Just curious if anyone remembers any others or that one. Interesting side note my local KTM dealer has been in business since 1985. He bought parts inventory from the guy who was the Penton/KTM dealer at the time and with was a huge lot of early Penton parts. He sold the bulk to a vintage parts dealer in Ohio in the mid 80's. He did keep a few things as souvenirs like a couple of NOS VDO's which he still has. We also don't live far from Tellico Plains where they had ISDE qualifiers.  I'd love to know a bit more info on Pentons in my area. Thanks!

I would think the Knoxville Penton dealer was Dial Brown at Knoxville Harley Davidson.  Dial sold  HD, Huskies, which he rode,   and KTM's which I coveted.  The Jack Pine was what I wanted in "75 and is still what I want today.

I am saddened to learn of Cindys passing.  My condolences go out to John and Chris, as well as her grandparents.
