Penton Talk / Fork Seals Installation
September 30, 2002, 01:05:13 AM

I used the Leak Proof Fork Seals brand  on a number of cycles that I own and repaired for friends and found that they work great for the price.

Thanks Larry it came off just fine. Now another question for the Sachs guru. Is the countershaft sprocket keyed or threaded after the left hand jam nut has been removed?

Penton Talk / 520 chain
February 06, 2010, 03:59:40 PM
Hey guys out there in Pentonland. Would anybody know if there's a 520 countershaft sprocket made for a 73 Jackpiner? I want to switch over from the 530 chain. I'm using a 520 size rear sprocket.

Penton Talk / Sachs crank bearings
December 27, 2001, 04:40:13 AM
I removed those funky copper caged ball bearings from the crankshaft of my 125 six days.  I was wondering when I replace them do I have to go OEM or are there aftermarket bearings available that will do the job.   Thanks guys

Penton Talk / steel or aluminum rims?
December 15, 2001, 02:54:30 AM
I have a Sachs powered six days 125 (year???) It wares a green fiberglass tank and rolls on steel rims. My question is: Are those rims original and would it make a difference if I switched over to aluminum?
Anybody like elaborate on this?? Thanks
