Bought a 250 Hare Scrambler (1973? 1974?) for $80 this week. Had no idea what it was at that point except an older well built bike. Dusted it off and it said "Penton." So found this site and am starting to learn a lot -- thanks, all. Two questions: where can I obtain a shop manual for this model, and should these bikes be sold with titles or no such thing necessary when it's an off-road bike? Thanks -- hope to get a rebuild done and a little riding before the snow flies!
