john ,first of all thank you for responding to my question, no i'm not replacing the rod asy. i need to know the overall width of the crank asy. before i start my inplay shimming on the crank bearings.the crank asy i have the rod has no  are very little side to side play is way i question the overall width.

I have a penton org. fiberglass gas tank that was completely jel coated , restored and refinished . After about half way through the first vintage MX season I noticed fuel seeping through the lower part of the tank. Does anyone know if there is a product that you can use (slush material) on the fiberglas interior of the tank to seal pinholes without restoring the exterior again?
