First of all thanks a lot for the information.  From what you told me it seems I have a 75 250.It is the KTM engine.When I first got this bike about 3 years ago ,I got it running but it wasnt running very good. I know for a fact that it needs the carb rebuilt. When I first got it it would kick fine and felt like it had plenty of compression but now when I kick it there is no resistance. Any ideas.I sorry if this seems like a stupid question, but I not familar with the mechanics of a motorcycle. Thanks a lot. Jquillen

 

I have a enduro that someone gave to me. The serial number starts with 54 ,does this mean it is a 75?  I don't even know what size it is. It has white fenders and a red gas tank.
I am sure you guys can help me and I would sure appreciate it. One more question. Assuming you guys will know what size it is,how much would the parts cost to rebuild the entire engine? Since I have found out these bikes are collectors items I am very interested. Thanks in advance for your help.  JQuillen
