  I was sure that the decals would be ready to view by now. They are except for the 250. They look exactly like the originals. I can have a set made in 420. I will post the photos next week on this page if if lets me. I had a matching clear coat decal made to protect the decals at no extra cost. Thanks, Carl

Due to a vary little(one) response I have listed the decal sets on ebay to get some exposure. Here's a chance to save a couple bucks on the first run. If these sell and more are requested then the cost will be a little less to the POGers. Happy Holidays, Carl

  Well I fianlly broke down and had some decal sets made for my 1979 ktm 250. I also had a couple extra sets made. I'll have the 175, 250 and 400. These have the tank KTM logo, world champion stripes and side panel motor displacement decals. I can tell you right now it wasn't cheap. As it stands they will cost about 60 to 70 bucks a set for the ones I have now. Which is less then the cost to have them made. But with a larger quanity ordered the price comes down. Does anyone need a tank decal set from MXM? I ordered a set of decal sheets from them only to realize it wasn't what I wanted. Their large white perforated thick stuff sheets with a blue KTM. Great for restoring a mid 80's bike. 25.00 to you door(us only) Thanks, Carl

 Is there a way to check or adjust the timing on a motoplat ignition without fancy tools or pulling the flywheel to make small adjustments after adjustments to get it right? Carl

  I'm now searching for rings for a Mahle 71mm piston. It takes two rings and the piston is marked 71p5. Or does anyone know of a Wiseco or other that makes a 71.25mm piston kit? Thanks, Carl

 This is my first ktm so please humor me. I need a motocross tank to replace the enduro style tank on my 1979 ktm 250. Is there a difference? Please let me know if one is for sale or any leads. Thanks, Carl
