Doug, Sorry for the novice question here - is this a red plastic tank Berkshire? As a kid, I lusted after a 73 125 ISDT but had to settle for a 250 Elsinore (Elsin-bore?).
Looking to get my first Penton after all these years. Really want a 125, but a similar Berkshire would be a great start also.
Can you give me some general info on this bike?

Trying to fulfill a childhood dream with a Penton 125 6-Day ISDT, Green Plastic tank, etc.

Is there a good dealer for used Pentons - or is it a matter of watching this Message Board and attending Swap Meets (maybe mid Ohio!)

I've come across a 1970 Penton 125 with "Penton" on the engine cases? Been looking for a 19783-ish 125 - this one looks intersting. Any input on the 1970 125? Did Penton make their own engines or caes, or was this just an early, private-labeld Sachs? Any input would be appreciated.
