Tank Fit

Will a 1976 GS tank (orange with L-shaped decals) fit a 1974-75 frame ? It seems to me to set low in front.  Thanks

76 cross country and 74-75 hi breather frame backbones are the same. You may be missing the felt pad in the front. Mike
