OK, Just bought my first Penton. Was delivered this past weekend. If I knew how to post pictures here, I would.
But right now I am looking for someone to go through the motor. It is a Sachs 1251/5A with points.
Feel free to email me at: [email protected] Sometimes this sites email doesn't work. You can also call me at: 860-774-3047 days or 860-774-6994 evenings.
Any help or referrals will be appreciated.
Thanks, Gordon

Gordon,
The websites mail function is still not working, but Karen has been looking into the problem from what was posted at last report.
If you start a topic with Dougs name in the post, he should respond when he sees it. Mike

Hey Doug and all the other Penton enthusiasts, Looking forward to seeing you next week (Dec.10th?) at the monthly POG meeting.  It is next week, isn't it?   joe

Doug is a great wrench, far superior to me, but I got to say getting my Penton into shape with a shop manual, parts catalog and my own ability was one of the most fun experiances I ever had. I used this forum to ask some real dumb questions but never was made to feel dumb. If you got the chance do it yourself it will make you better and appreciate the abilities those in this great group have.
