OT: Free Husky parts

I am organizing my newly built garage and want to clean out all of my unnecessary items. I have a front end from an early 1980s Husky CR available. The forks are complete with triples, stem, axle, and clamp. They are of the 40mm variety and have white lower legs. There is some very minor rust between the clamps, but you have to look real close to see it. Very useable set of forks for anything but a show queen.
I also have a 21" Husky front wheel assembly minus the brake. This is for a SLS set-up. It has the gold rim and the original Perelli tire in fairly good shape. The spokes have some light surface rust from sitting around the garage for years.
Both of these are free to the first taker. I would prefer that someone pick them up in the Asheville, NC area, but I will ship them if you'll pay the cost of shipping and for a box. These are both larger items and boxes are hard to come by these days.
I'd hate to see these go to the landfill but I really have no use for them. I got them for possible use on my KTM 420, but decided to stay with the stock 38mm zokes. These are both good items as I don't keep anything around I wouldn't use myself and I'm pretty particular about my bikes.

I might be interested in the forks you mentioned. I have a 83 Husky 500XC that has 40mm forks with the white lowers so these may fit the bill if I ever need parts. No hurry at all though, I know what you mean about finding the right box and such. Let me know what shipping to 15601 looks like and I can send you a money order.
